In some ways, it is early days to be setting a price target for MAQ, given it is still considerably "cheaper" on most metrics than other telco stocks. On the other hand, a trend this steep can't hold indefinitely. And the lack of liquidity could make it a hard exit for even a small holder if the time comes.
It's in my nature to exit early, so I've let myself exit the first few today. The price has doubled in six months and more than quadrupled in 12. Perhaps it has one more double in it, but I'd be inclined to think the headwinds will get stronger once it's through $5.
I'll try to let my profits run on the remaining holding - at least till they've had a chance to upgrade profit forecasts in early Feb. It's been a lonely trade and perhaps there's still a chance it will find more friends.
Any other thoughts on a price target?
