Good recovery today supports your theory. I believe as CANA is the broker, MNC signed off on the reduction to 7p. There has to be a motive gone 13 - 10 - 7 very rapidly, yet nothing has changed apart from a few %more shares. I do believe that there is a takeover deal and we are being conditioned for a fairly low price, but great from these levels. I originally hoped for 10p - 12p, but the range is probably now 7 - 11p.
We were told drilling was going to happen, nothing has in 2 months so think it is part of the bluff trying to get a good deal. A good way they could have got a lift in the shares, is to do a few "exploratory drills" in the surrounding area of Los Calatos. Even a deal with a third party for x% would mean no expenditure by us, but a chance for a % of another find increasing MNCs value.
Taca Taca sale puts us at 7p, and that is for Argentina, not exactly mining friendly! So I would put us as a takeover target of 8-10p with ease.
