Yes, i would say thats fair, but a little indirectly, i think the Vocus SP has become linked to Telstra, and the merger might have real effect on Telstra.
Below is a graph of the VOC:TLS spread (Vocus SP divided by TLS SP), VOC SP hasnt been above TLS since the big shakout in 2016, but its been on a reasonably good trend since March.
