In May 2017 when the guidance was for EBITDA of 430 to 450m the share price was up around 4.20 per share.
Once the downgrade was issued in may to EBITDA of around 365m, the share price fell to 2.40 (and found strong support there many times).
For the time being, provided we dont fall below 360m EBITDA , its safe to say the floor share price is 2.40. The only reason the price went up from 2.40 initially was because of the prospects of takeovers but without takeover the market has always put a floor of 2.40 per share.
Question is, why is the share price now above $3(and staying there i.e didn't spike and fall back) even though the guidance EBITDA is the same as when the share price fell to $2.40.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
