maybe lip service, that is a risk, I'm hoping some of the action today was part of the buyback, 26704 went through and there was an order cancelled after the close that if filled would have been an even 40000. I know my etrade doesn't cancel after market like that so suspect it was a non retail broker. Guess we'll find out tomorrow if it was buyback.
It makes sense to buy back at these prices, it's way below current asset levels, it adds value, if they don't buyback at these prices then we have to start again asking questions on motives, but for now these guys have made this company and I am glad I'm in the same profitable sand pit/ Barrick JV as them, long term though corp governance needs to be improved
