Wash sales are 30 days, but if you are buying back cheaper it is not a wash sale.

In reality the ATO is only after investors who try to manipulate their income to avoid tax and thats what they need to prove. If you have a legitimate reason for buying back or conditions change, then no problem buying back. You just need to be prepared for it. imo it is more a scare tactic and is aimed at large shareholders.

I think zno is near the bottom now and its time to claw back some of the losses. Hopefully they will have some good news for us at the end of the month and the shares will reverse the long down trend. If they don't these shares will be sold as quick as they were purchased.
