I haven't followed this whole thread, but did you just compare the full cost of the roof instead of the difference between a regular and solar roof?
Also where did your annual power bill number come from? I thought someone quoted the $30k as a 300sqm roof. That space is not going to be powered by a standard household sized bill.
This stuff is for industry, not houses.
