YIEH reported that the world's largest nickel producer, Russia Norilsk Nickel said that nickel prices are expected to rebound next year due to Indonesia’s ban on ore exports.
Norilsk Nickel noted that strict implementation of nickel ore export ban will provide support to the refined nickel's need.
Indonesia’s nickel ore exports totaled 24.4 million tonne from January to May this year, representing an increase of 30% over the same period in 2012.
Nickel industry expected that the strict export ban in Indonesia will provide support for the market.
