I rarely sell but one of the few rules I have is when a company makes an out of the blue type acquisition is that I review it and usually exit, in saying that RMD is a outstanding company, but as I said in a proir post the rule has served me well. I might miss out on even greater gains but who really knows.

I was also maybe trying to trim my portfolio down to a less complicated level (its easy to become a collecter in this game and my pea sized brain struggles at times to keep up), I'm a pretty simple type of investor and my simple rules have really done well for me.

Its funny how on a forum like HC we all crave for more information and when its not forthcoming there is always a lot of members that can readily provide many different angles and opinions.

I enjoy reading your usual blunt direct responses to some of the nonsense.
