Yeah, i am not sure about that 'opinion'. It also selectively targets points, say the 97% of 'antibiotics' used in the US comes from China, but mentions nothing about spare capacity in the U.S. or Europe. Or that of the China and India paring of generic manufacturers, China is the smaller one, by a long way.
I also note it mentions nothing about the carcinogenic compounds found in drugs imported from China and India which the FDA has apparently known about for some time. I remember reading a quote and it said 'no amount carcinogens in our generic drugs was acceptable', something like that, i believe it was in the recent Bloomberg article. Try bloomberg.com.
All in all i think that 'Blog post' is more biased and misleading than 99% of the stuff i read on HC. But just my thoughts. Try bloomberg for some curious, and terrifying facts.
