what extra trade deals? Its all puff and smoke. The seventy percent of countries that trade more with China then the US have trade for goods and at a price that is not interchangeable. No increase in the previously thriving global trade situation that has been upended is gonna happen. My concern is the massive sackings of dockworkers and others due to the big drop in ships to the US with cargo and the ships that do sail r half full and the affect of this is still trickling through on top of the worldwide tarrifs with empty shop shelves , businesses going under, three main retailes already badly affected, Industry not getting in vital supply chain parts. It will take till August to see real impacts. The UK deal was a minimum touch memo and already car dealers in the US are fighting back. and beef imports in exchange from the US will be limited to that which meets UK food stds so that ain't much. We totally need a US China trade deal but that is still a we have agreed to meet for further talks nothingness so far. Both countries need it so we need this resolved if the global economy is not to be affected further. This is all going to reduce WTC profits given it has dragged on . Expect a drop in revenue for the last quarter ending June. The UK , the EU economy , and the US debt levels r scary right now made worse with countries selling off US bonds. Nice to know others r more optimistic would be glad to hear the details of why given terrible macro economic and geopolitical situation right now. Lets hope the damage is fixed by start of next financial year.

Looks like US/China trade talks have reached a consensus, according to Reuters. Expect proper announcement Monday US time.
