It's impossible to tell until we've actually tried the app and tested its real life effectiveness.

I am a heavy data user (20+ gig), and if the app provides data savings of a few gigs then $6 will be incredibly cheap (it's $10 per gig on Virgin, off the top of my head). VPN services alone usually cost around that mark too. I personally don't see the issue with the price point if it works as advertised.

Most people around my age bracket already use VPN and geo-spoofing services, particularly with Netflix, so they will be used to monthly charges in this range. If they can get the same VPN service with added features then I am pretty confident they will see it as a bargain too.
