shoo, my experience from being in the securities industry is that, not surprisingly, companies dumped ftom the ASX300 can have quite sharp sp falls.
However, admission to the ASX300 does not guarantee instant sp appreciation. Fund managers generally have a significant amount of time to reweight their portfolios for changes (30 - 90 days), and some also have different weightings for each industry.
So clear as mud what will happen to the sp ST, but at least we can all agree on one thing: it's not a negative!
