Ths is exactly the type of development investors want to see with interim data for the lead candidate released however it's still a double edged sword & until the data is out there it's really impossible to speculate or make judgement about where to from here. I don't think it's a case of simply "why would they release it if it's a flop" regardless the data is going to make it out at some point. The thing to remember is it is only much as the the title implies "interim data" & is only based on the first 6 patients (a very small numder) so can a point of signifcance be determined from that size ? i highly doubt but it does provide a sneak peek & open the floor to discussion by the company.
