on a serious note, i was looking at major competitors Freo web page - a merged entity may be a win /win medium term and i am sure Berkshire Hathaway would be able to afford Boom lol,

I would imagine serious synergies could be extracted. I would guess the business could be bought at a moderate discount to NTA allowing all major shareholders to exit at a profit. Funnily enough Boom successfully forging its own way forward may be the catalyst. We clearly don't need a TO anymore to realise value, but I also think it may be something that surprises us at of left field.
