I hear what you are saying. There is a wealth of uninformed comment on HC. Lots of "I think"s and "Its going to go stratospheric" etc. But, there are three main drivers of price (not value). Fundamentals, Technicals and Sentiment. I prefer the first two, but you cant dismiss the third. HC is a medium for people to express "Sentiment" informed or not. That in itself is useful. Why do you think Tesla trades on a 200X multiple with falling sales and a nutty boss?
