Primero focus, page-101

I do find it a little interesting that there is no discussion on this thread or the announcement threads that Primero (NWH) got the Core A$40m contract for Core Lithium's DMS plant as it was part of Primero being a potential supplier of DMS capability for new lithium projects and there will need to be a number of new projects to meet projected lithium supply needs.

The post by @sabine that I'm replying to is the only reference to Core within this Primero thread. When this contract was awarded (28 Sept 2021), it didn't even get one reply in the NWH thread!!

I keep on bumping into the name Primero among my lithium holdings so I decided to look further into them as a possible investment. In addition to them building the DMS plant for Core, they were doing cost scoping work for ESS. As posted recently they are doing work for PLL on their planned Tennessee Hydroxide plant. Given PLL has a shareholding in Atlantic Lithium (soon to list on the ASX under ticker A11), I wouldn't be surprised if they had the inside running for the DMS plant that A11 is considering.

Primero are a shareholder from listing in Green Technology Metals (GT1). In addition to his role as MD of Primero, Cameron Henry is on the board of GT1. GT1 posted this pic during the weekend of Mr Henry in Korea meeting unnamed Korean parties to discuss the future of the North American battery minerals supply chain. There's a lot of gigafactories being planned in North America and a number of key battery players are based in Korea. I'd love to know who Mr Henry was meeting but there's some big battery players over there and that they are interested in Primero's views is extremely interesting.

While Mr Henry will have been professional and represented GT1, I don't for a second think there wouldn't also be benefits for Primero in these discussions.
