Lots of really good prospects to put your money in on the resource front so why an alleged group of shareholders allegedly decided to put their $$$ in PLV doesn't appear to hold much weight.
That said, just like I watched PLV from afar for a considerable time, I too exited a company going nowhere to PLV...a company with a demonstrated proven track record of being accountable to shareholders and developing a resource and relationships where others perhaps could not....or would not.
I've had lots of communications with companies and MD's over the years and although some have been much better than others, Tony is so far ahead of any i've had anything to do with that I think it should be mentioned as a distinct comparative advantage in 'one of' the reasons some may want to look a little closer at this company.
He's been here in the good times and the poor ones. Thats a sign of character. He hasn't shirked questions (may have graciously and strategically side stepped a few...or been urged or reminded to answer them at times;)and for the most part has been incredibly patient and tolerant of others questions and views.
This is the bloke and the company that I invested in. The fact he is on HC demonstrates an appetite for considered risk. The fact he honed in on an Island apparently previous owners had issues in negotiating with, further demonstrates that he backs his own judgement and abilities.
I like that approach as it demonstrates confidence.
PLV has a way to go. But I can rest at night knowing the company and the people ive invested in are ethical and accountable....regardless of the outcome of the investment. For me thats very important as ive learned that no matter how good a company sounds or promotes their 'assets'...the most important asset often overlooked is the people themselves.
I have not always been able to say that with other companies I have invested in.
