Goldnerd..I don't use stop losses.
About 30yrs ago,I had a couple of spec. resource stocks and had some stop losses,only to see them get sold at the designated lower price.
More often than not,the next day the sp went up and I could have made some decent bucks instead of small losses.
I watch my short term trades closely.
