By the way, from additional research it looks like one of the inventors was a lead scientist at J & J who has since moved on to a position at L'Oreal. Either that or there are two people at J & J in that division with the same name, which would be a heck of a coincidence.

But J & J would still own the rights to the technology.

The Chinese herbal company as it turned out was just a supplier for some of the ingredients.

But J & J obviously has put some resources to work on this - suppliers, lab animals, etc. Some of these patents never get off the ground, but if J & J sees promise, they have all the resources to make it happen...deep pockets, best relationship with key suppliers, incredible depth of experience with lotions, creams, and they own Neutrogena, which is one of the biggest players in skincare.

Question remains if J & J will move on this and if they do whether or not it would be classified as a cosmeceutical (no drug trials required).

BTW, hopefully the FDA gives the green light for Clinuvel to start the Vitiligo trial soon.
