thanks ocker, graham
When I turn the printer on the ink is supposed to stop where the ink can be changed but my wells are still 'under cover' which suggests another problem. The color still prints but no black & after a 'bit of nudge nudge' on the wells I now get red instead of blue when printing.
Looks like an i350 Canon coming up especially if the clone ink is around the $7 mark. I pay around $47 for my Epson 640 ink from Sands & McDougall & the color ink was cheaper than the black at latest purchase.
