the reason why the ecb has to print money is because traders are making it increasingly difficult,near impossible, for spain, previously greece to borrow money from the markets.
markets are now happy about the ecb plans to print money so yields have dropped. in fact if it keeps up and traders stay happy the ecb wont have to print more money at all. they wont need to buy bonds etc.
you can see that there is something drastically wrong here.
if they regulated the trading in or capping the prices of certain financial instruments this problem wouldnt exist. but the rich, the traders always win, in america and europe. they own the politicians.
geitner,bernanke,summers, all caused the gfc in 2008. obama employed them all in spite of this because wall street wanted these no regulation men in power.
