Yes Flaming, many years ago a friend of mine spoke with a prominent treasury official in canberra and the topic of another depression arose, and he said there will never be another depression as such as now we will just print money,unlike when they tried to keep the pound worth a pound and resulted in a massive depression.Looking ahead its only gold and physical assets that can go with inflation.In the twenties the only companies that did not collapse were the gold companies.
