    Yes Tks for context I was talking about the historical clay hosted TREO component at Mt Weld which is just under 3% and all but mined out, they are now into the saprolite zone ( oxidised bedrock).
    Mt Weld is a fantastic resource but my point being ionic is not the ‘be all’ in a clay REE project.It’s about economics.
    I purely threw out a figure 30% of ‘material rejected’ ( not that the grade would increase 30%)in a first pass gravity circuit as a starting point.
    Different mesh grading is another matter .As would be the effect as a concentrate.
    A con of 40% sounds close to a MREC, so while tested ,I’m not sure that the company will go down that path atm.
    And obviously I’m not aware of the structure of the TREO clay hosting zones, so don’t know composition of silicates and clay species (as some may be barren) etc.
    This is what the met studies that they are paying for will do.
