One point i'm a little concerned about is the CAN-003X study allowing control patients.
Great for the patients, but my thoughts are that it would muddy the survival data.
Dendreon suffered for doing this in their Phase 3 Provenge trial (by administering frozen provenge to some patients progressing in the control arm), In doing so, extending their lives and effectively dropped Provenge's measured median survival benefit.
