Don't be so sure Finch, I used to think shareholders were pretty smart when I used to hold MIM (copper stock) but then it got taken over by Xstrata way too cheaply coz when the share price was low all the hedge funds and speculators bought in and then sold at a moderate profit rather than wait a year or more and sell for a huge profit.

Patience is something the fund managers don't have so if they see a way to make a quick couple of dollars then they'll shaft the smaller investors that look longer term than the end of the next week or month.
