This is probably an odd question but needing some assistance and guidance with the following. Probably applies for someone who is/was a stockbroker or with industry knowledge.
I have been approached by one of my networks at a stockbroking firm to do this and really haven't done this before.
The rundown is, I have been approached for an opportunity for a private equity investment and needing to raise $1m for a biotech company and now part of my project is to make this happen. There is no time frame, there is no competitors, its just me.
How would someone start off? I understand getting leads, networks etc etc is one of the majors but I'm wanting to know what else is involved with starting this process to get off the ground?
If anyone could lighten me up on this topic, forward some pieces of information, links etc that would be greatly appreciated.
