Apparently Neddy it seems any poster who even remotely agrees with me must be ostracised.
It would be welcome if you would actually discuss the post instead of having a rant.
And yes I can guess your response to me asking that.
Not many really want to discuss the real outcomes that will happen which is detrimental to any stock forum.

There has been so much rumour, hype and innuendo and so far none of it has come to pass as yet.
1) Cairn, COP and WPL in cahoots.
2) The Senegal government agrees with FAR.
3) FAR has a big backer.
4) FAR to PE the whole 35% and become operator.
5} Petrosen and FAR to PE together.
6) Deals left, right and centre.
7) US army training exercises only there because of the oil.
8) Announcements where there are subliminal messages in them for the shareholders.
9) Tweets with secret meanings.
10) Malcy who has absolutely no idea and even admits that yet somehow he is saying something between the lines.
11) Management who say absolutely nothing about it in their last 2 announcements.

Probably many more examples.
Can anyone see why some are a bit incredulous about it all?

As I said time and time again the field is big and a good asset.
FAR need to divest some equity in it to stay alive not add more.
I never have advised anyone to sell as IMO its good buying right now as long as they don't over commit.
FAR needs to consolidate sooner that later.
Lastly FAR knew COP were a seller and they had to know the stake was in a separate holding company yet they done nothing about until the announcement.
Even Cairn are looking to sell down after DOC because the project is huge and extremely costly yet FAR according to the "ones in the know" want more.
It makes absolutely no sense.
