it was a bit different in the old days...before the nouveau rich turned up.... the boomer parents sent all their kids to uni... I know so many kids with multiple degrees, but they are simply just clerical workers....down there scrapping with the rest of them...like worker drones hardly any tradesmen any more....cause they all went to uni...a tradie being too lowly a career the tradies today are better paid, happier than many of those uni grads
if the kids get started on drugs...all the earlier schools and education is gone...wasted
most people I know have a degree, and a profession, it does not make them more successful than others who did not have the silver spoon intro to life
there is something else required to be really successful, to be a cut above the rest.....its like a special gene...
its like going that extra mile, that most cannot be bothered with... I find a lot of people are stuck in a mundane, cliched existence...no real excitement in their lives... or a driving force to motivate them to a higher level
it goes back to the dumbing down of society....what they are taught, be it in a public or private school, and the parents influence
