We were lucky that Ardern had the guts to block international travel in NZ. Until then our leadership was too afraid to make such a bold and unusual policy.
But once NZ had blocked flights our leadership were more afraid of NZ escaping the crisis while Australia went the way of the UK, which would've made Morrison look terrible.
