This is probably just the tip of the corruption iceberg in Malawi.
Whether and to what extent GBE has been a victim of corruption itself or whether others have benefited from it, who have worked together with the people now affected or who have maintained good contacts can only be speculated, but the suspicion is obvious.
These investigations, which have now been initiated, will presumably bring many unpleasant facts to light for President Chakera.
It will therefore be absolutely important and a priority for him and Malawi as a whole to counteract all of this corruption headlines and the associated negative effects for all of Malawi directly with positive headlines and developments.
It can be assumed that Chakwera probably had detailed knowledge of all this for a long time.
As such, the PDU and Labs will likely provide the positive headlines that are needed more than ever.
