There has been a bit of talk about Virgin being privatised including an article in AFR last Friday. The reason being the small 7% free float and the fact that Virgin doesn't need the stockmarket to raise funds. In fact, the take up from minors for the CR was small. If the majors made an offer to take up the free float, what would the premium be? Any thoughts?
