Total Energies won't walk from the deal due to the submarine contract being broken with French company Naval Group. French business won't cut off its nose to spite its face. Yesterday, the Victorian Government bought 20 odd trains for the metropolitan rail network from French company Alstom. Business is business. Total Energies is more interested in making coin than poking Scot Morrison in the eye.
