The arrival of the H2 hydrogen-electric racing truck marks the first time a hydrogen-electric vehicle will compete in the Dakar Rally. The 2022 Dakar Rally is currently scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia, and the introduction of the H2 truck will be one more significant step toward the organizers' goal of making the race a green event (via lower emissions powertrains) by 2030.
