I don't share that same view. WA and FMG both have big plans to have large scale hydrogen production as soon as practically possible. This will enable both the state and the corporation to meet their net zero targets and supplement the royalties received from iron ore exports. Twiggy has already started singing end user agreements in the UK and there is no doubt he already has customers in Asia ready to go (as would Total). How about production within proximity to Asia you ask? This project on paper seems like the perfect opportunity and once the scoping study is released i can definitely see FMG getting involved.
