Kawasaki and all the participants would be well aware of the cost deficiencies in this exercise. The supply chain needs to commence & be tested, regardless of the obscure cost and origins of the hydrogen. There is some consensus that the early supply chain must begin using current production technology while larger green H2 projects become established. Potential problems must be identified now- well before large volume production is underway.

Something of interest for anyone really serious about investing in this space should take a look at a publication called H2 View. I subscribed about 6 months ago (not cheap though- but tax deductible) and find the information invaluable. You receive a monthly printed magazine plus online access to all the articles. Most would not realise the sheer size & scale this industry is becoming. It is astounding. The companies involved both upstream & downstream is just so comprehensive.

There is a wall of money (public & private) coming...
