The US Department of Energy (DOE) announced a series of actions on Tuesday to advance climate action in the industrial sector, including the allocation of more than US$9 billion to develop clean hydrogen capacity in the US.“Clean hydrogen is key to cleaning up American manufacturing and slashing emissions from carbon-intensive materials like steel and cement while creating good-paying jobs for American workers,” said US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm.
