They used to say you could never battery-power something as large as a car too. Or turn salt water into desalinated potable water at scale. Or take “tourists” to space.

Human beings (or at least a particular subset of them) are marvellous inventors and innovators. They routinely find solutions. There is huge investment going into hydrogen by some of the best brains in energy supported by deep-pocketed entrepreneurs and regular investors like us. Not only are these brains focussed on the energy itself but on the storage, delivery and use of it. IMO hydrogen and H2 transportation is not some sort of virtue-signalling pie-in-the-sky Ponzi scheme: it’s innovation and it’s coming soon.
