Pure speculation, but strategically it would make a great deal of sense. The comments by the Total Energies CEO Patrick Pouyanne (posted by @Marto92 above) followed closely by Andrew Forrest mooting a coalition of H2 developers in WA (link posted by @trici above) all in the space of a couple of days is pretty compelling stuff when taken together.

I would put money on Twiggy having already sat down for a meeting with Pouyanne during one of his many jet flights around Europe in recent months. Who knows what was discussed or the outcomes, but there is no doubt Twiggy has access (just look at his ability to secure a one-on-one with Biden a few weeks ago). Back here, the local manoeuvres with the Shire as well as local tribal groups could all easily, sensibly, be dotting the i’s stuff by PRL as it completes its “quiet execution” phase we’ve all heard it being referred to.

Even if I’m completely off the mark, PRL still remains in absolute pole position in Gascoyne.
