While solar resources are certainly poorer quality compared to Carnarvon do not underestimate the consistency of wind in the Bass Strait/ Tasmania region.

Are you stating that CAPEX will be more "economical and efficient" due to higher quality solar resources resulting in a smaller power generation component? As efficiency is more closely linked to OPEX (LCOE) as opposed to CAPEX, I'd say this is what you are referring to. In saying that one could argue construction costs may be higher in the Gascoyne region than Tasmania.

Also I see no reference to any of their presentations to date regarding the requirement for desalination or ability to directly process seawater which to my knowledge there is not currently a technology at commercial scale able to achieve this.
