Major Project Status is no different to what the Hyenergy status is with WA government which was achieved a long time ago. The Tiwi Islands H2 project also has Major project status (August 2022) with the NT government. That project is 90,000 tons of hydrogen p.a compared to TE's 80,000 p.a. A small scale project. They have stated FID for the Darwin H2 as possibly 2027. The fact it's taken them this long to just achieve this step shows their lack of serious intent to get these projects underway. TE has so many MOUs around the world they are thinking about but will halt activities until they decide what they want to do. Leaving countries and companies unable to progress.
