Last years 2023-24 budget pledged 2 billion dollars to the Hydrogen Headstart project to provide revenue support for large-scale renewable hydrogen projects through competitive hydrogen production contracts. If you look at the 6 shortlisted projects, you will not see PRL, which is of no surprise to the investors that have a been here a while and are familiar with the ‘sit-on-hands-and-collect-performance-bonuses’ style of DF and his cronies.

It was announced in this years 2024-25 budget that the Hydrogen Headstart project will be expanding by a further 1.3 billion dollars. We should be putting pressure on DF to apply for PRL to be included in this project as I believe we’d be a perfect candidate.

The government are literally throwing billions towards the hydrogen industry and PRLs name hasn’t been mentioned once, which is staggering. Time for DF to stop sleeping at his desk and to cash in on the government handouts and get the HyEnergy project off the ground
