Lets hope PRL get an approval soon too.....

This is Michael Woodley. He’s the CEO of the Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation in WA’s vast Pilbara region.

Last month, the State Government delivered its first-ever environmental approval under our Green Energy Approvals Initiative, with Yindjibarndi given the go ahead to build a 150-megawatt solar project in WA’s north.

This means:

✅ More clean energy for businesses and households in the Pilbara.

✅ More training and employment opportunities for Aboriginal Australians.

✅ More investment in our State’s renewable energy future.

And with aspirations to build more solar, wind and storage capacity, Yindjibarndi could end up leading one of Australia's largest renewable energy developments right here in WA.

These are exactly the sort of projects our Government wants to see more of in our State – That’s why it’s so important we cut red tape and get clean energy projects online without unnecessary delays.
