I believe the Hazer process can be carbon negative, but it seems their demonstration plant, which will convert waste sewage methane to hydrogen, is being promoted as low emission. I'm guessing they will not be powering it totally with renewable energy, which leads to the low emission status. As such, PRL would still be the first ASX green hydrogen company (if we define 'green' as meaning carbon neutral or better). If both companies are successful they will provide different, perhaps complementary, solutions to decarbonising the world by 2050.
