David Frances has said countless times now, at almost every speaking opportunity, that government policy is the critical outstanding issue to progress projects and establish this “new” industry. PRL has almost everything else going for it in spades and is arguably in pole position. For the PM to now be talking in interviews about hydrogen suggests what is occurring behind closed doors in the offices of his policy wonks will bode very well for PRL and all others making investments in this space. Institutional investors are looking for signals from government and, whatever your political stripe, when the PM utters “hydrogen” it is going to be noticed.
