Great find and plenty of interesting information there to unpack. This imo is exactly what PRL would be doing as part of preparations to unveil a full joint venture development agreement. Total is already referred to matter-of-factly as the JV partner in the Shire minutes, even if we haven’t been formally told yet.

It’s interesting too if this is foreshadowing a much wider pact or threesome as has been speculated e.g. with our neighbour FFI. PRL by doing this is cementing it’s links to the local community, increasing goodwill with the Shire, and exhibiting its commitment to ensuring they all share in the benefits of this development before any international deal is formally done or the State Government comes riding in, muting any criticism of an offshore partner or politics in play.

Nice reminder too that a Shire councillor (who is a very well known local identity and who immediately recused himself from this meeting due to the conflict of interest) is also our key employee on the ground in Gascoyne.
