I have just had a few with a couple of mates with a ‘like minded view’ so apologies for any errors. During this a small epiphany of PRL management and the ‘cone of silence’. Within that we reflected on many of holdings across numerous sectors and one thing we could all agree on was the fluffy announcements many companies release to engage holders. This is one thing PRL do not do. During this chat the majority at table agreed this is somewhat a positive sign. No ann, no fluff pieces just a business what we said “getting it done”. I’m not for one moment suggesting this is a ‘give me’, but who here with their other holdings has continued “fluff” updateds that never come to fruition, or if so years on.
My take away from this is very optimistic, DF is not “fluffing” the SP and I firmly believe he is just getting the job done.
