"Hmm, if anyone is going to buy it from a chemist without a prescription ($136 for a pen) then you don't do more than 0.25mg in a week. If you do a full injection, you'll be on the ground crying in stomach pain and will need to go to hospital, probably by ambulance.'

Shouldn't you only be taking it as prescribed by your doctor?

Ozempic is not approved for use for weight loss in Australia & only available on prescription for treatment of type 2 diabetes.
So anyone taking it for weight loss will be taking a huge risk with regard to not only taking the drug but also the authenticity of it.

'Ozempic and other GLP-1 receptor agonists are approved for use in Australia when prescribed by a doctor, subject to certain conditions. These drugs are not widely available at the moment. The pharmaceutical company that produces semaglutide has advised that supply will still be limited throughout 2024 due to a global shortage. Prescribers are still advised to not start new patients on Ozempic unless there’s no other option, and patients already on it should consider changing to an alternative.'
