Not much info, but nice to see it on the wires.
Uran Limited 26% share increase raises ASX eyebrows
Wednesday, March 30, 2011
Uran Limited (ASX: URA) 26% share spike to $0.044 in intra-day trading yesterday, up from a closing price of $0.035 on Monday 28 March, has prompted an ASX price and volume query.
The company said it is not aware of any material information that has not been announced to the market which may explain the sudden investor interest.
However, the company did note that 'discussions were held in relation to the contents' of a document updating Uran manganese exploration lodged with the ASX on 21 March at the Mines and Money Conference in Hong Kong.
Uran focuses on uranium mining with targets including closed uranium mines, identified resources or reserves adjacent to these strikes.
The company has joint venture projects in the United States, and a second joint venture targeting manganese in Zambia.
