Samson Oil and Gas continues to progress drilling at North Dakota oil project
Samson Oil and Gas (ASX: SSN) has made significant progress on its infill drilling program at the North Stockyard project in Williams County, North Dakota.
Drilling has been completed on eight of the 10 planned Bakken wells with two wells flowing 244 barrels and 342 barrels of oil per day. Drilling is underway on the remaining 2 wells.
The company is also preparing to drill the eight Three Forks wells on the project.
Samson has recently completed fracture stimulation of the Blackdog 3-13-14H Bakken well. It is currently shut in and will be flowed back later this week.
The Sail and Anchor well is shut in during the Blackdog frack and continues to await a coil tubing clean out in conjunction with Blackdog.
The company has in January this year finalised a US$25 million credit facility with Mutual of Omaha Bank to fund its current continuous drilling program.
